How to Find Us ...
About: The Bear and Swan has welcomed both visitors and local residents for many years and its reputation has spread well beyond the Chew Valley.

At the Bear and Swan you will receive a warm welcome from the owners, Nigel and Caroline Pushman and their friendly, helpful staff. The Bear and Swan is regarded as one of the South West's premier gourmet pubs

The Bear and Swan offers you a restaurant, pub and self contained accommodation in a warm lively atmosphere that also retains the relax ambiance of the surrounding area.

A free house, The Bear and Swan is open all week apart from Sunday evenings and is an ideal base from which to visit the Chew Valley Lakes, around which there are delightful walks.

Bath is only 20 minutes drive and Bristol just 15 minutes by car.

The pub is over 200 years old with a frontage added in Victorian times and the scrubbed wooden floorboards and eclectic mix of reclaimed tables chairs and artifacts all add to the charm of The Bear and Swan.
