Testimonials: Family of 6 who stayed in Oaktree cottage in May 2009

A poem by Chloe

"I went to Higher Bowden one Saturday mourn
On the Higher Bowden website it didn't look a yawn
We finally left in the car after weeks and weeks of waiting

It felt so bloomin' far
But finally we were escaping
The busy city life

When we then arrived here
I was so amazed
I started out to see the view
And I felt quite dazed

Now its the end of my poem
But not the end of my stay
Here at Higher Bowden you will have fun everyday"

Couple with baby who stayed in Courtyard cottage in June 2008

The "Smiffys" have had a lovely time & our cottage/ facilities were fantastic. Jessie who is nearly four would like to stop "4 more days". We will definitely be back next year.

Family of 4 in Garden cottage February 2008

Lovely cottage & fabulous facilities. In spite of the weather we have enjoyed ourselves. There is plenty to do, even when it rains heavily. We would like to return and see Devon in the sunshine!
